Suzanne Stevenson case
A volunteer for Eat Up who came through Indeed and had several charity involvements on a C.V. was with Eat Up from November 2019 till May 2020. The volunteer moved though the charity in voluntary positions quite quickly. Until the charity terminated the voluntary position with immediate effect. Later on the volunteer would raise a case with OSCR the charity regulator who found the charity to be in the right. The volunteer was Suzanne Stevenson who was collecting food from Renfrew and other Renfrewshire and some Glasgow areas. Suzanne Stevenson also raised a simple procedure against the charity for 126 pounds of expenses that had been waived until then by Suzanne Stevenson. The court ruled the charity and its trustees should pay the expenses. The case notes are below with Eat Up's evidence sent to the court in Glasgow. The regulator ruled the charity had did things right.
